In common with other places of worship:

• Face coverings can to be worn into the Church 

• Observe social distancing at all times

• Please sanitise your hands upon entering and leaving the building

 

Hand washing facilities are available in the vestry

 

Far fewer churches hold evening services and we hope that Zion Hall can provide a time and place for those who attend church elsewhere in the morning or who for whatever reason prefer or can only get along to an evening service.

 

Style of Services

 

Although there is variety in the backgrounds of those who lead us, our services typically follow a pattern including prayer, Bible readings, preaching and teaching and singing of hymns and songs.

 

Services are usually led throughout by the preacher for the week but may include participation by the congregation, for example in prayer or Bible reading. We hold a simple Communion service at the end of the main service once a month.

We typically use the ‘Mission Praise’ hymnbook but have a number of other hymnbooks available. We have a good organ and most of our services are accompanied by an organist.
